Radio World has announced that Orban's OPTIMOD 5750 HD Audio Processor has won a prestigious 2024 Best of Show Award at the International Broadcasting Convention (IBC) in Amsterdam.
The Best of Show awards recognize the very best media & broadcast technology products and solutions on display at IBC2024, with hundreds of products and solutions considered.
All entries were reviewed by a panel of industry experts and editors at the RAI. Factors considered include how diverse and comprehensive our product’s features are; how easy it is to use and how it integrates with other products; how well it solves a problem for the user; and how innovative and unique it is within the market.

The OPTIMOD 5750 HD is a new 1-RU hardware unit offering comprehensive processing solutions for FM analog, HD1 and streaming found in the 5750, and adds an additional processing instance for DAB+ or HD2.
With four processing structures, intelligent two-band window-gated AGC, RDS/RBDS generation, remote control, and monitoring capabilities, among other features, it is designed to meet the needs of broadcasters who require independent processing for multiple DAB+ or HD Radio™ channels without the high cost.
The OPTIMOD 5750 HD will be available for purchase in Q4 2024.
